Chuck and Sue - Travels

 Over a year ago, I posted Day 7 of our Route 66 trip...and then took a very long break. Well...the break is over, and we are getting ready to set sail (quite literally) on a new adventure! Tomorrow we catch a plane in Albuquerque...destination: Italy! There we catch our Holland America cruise ship for a 28-day adventure through the Mediterranean and across the Atlantic to Florida, culminating with a trip down to Key West. I will do my best to keep up - and the trip across the Atlantic should help at least a little with that. Check back soon for more fun stuff :)

 We woke to rain on the morning of the 21st and looked outside to see a family of ducks in the parking lot. Seemed a fitting way to start the day :) First stop of the day was in Catoosa to see the Blue Whale. Chuck is making headway with that selfie stick. In case you have questions about the mileage... I went a few rungs up the ladder and said, "I'm done." My knees were having nothing to do with that particular adventure. On the second floor, looking fore...   ...and aft.   Seems to me there is something a bit fishy about that left nostril.   Yup. Thought so!   Reflecting on a fun visit before heading on to our next stop.   It's Buck Atom!     And this is just cool :)  Former Blue Dome Gas Station is now a bar. The gentleman in the parking lot told us the parking was for the bar only, but since it wasn't open yet, he was OK with us parking long enough for a couple of pictures.     Glad I had my camera ready for this one!   Gia...
