Road Trip 2017 - The big plan

Here we go again! It's just over 2 weeks this time, but it beats staying home.

Here is the plan...several days in Fredericksburg - good, German food, wine, and a WWII reenactment - not to mention a wonderful Dutch oven stew at the KOA.

Next we head down to Corpus Christi for 4 nights. Our plans included the USS Lexington, the South Texas Botanical Gardens, and Padres Island National Seashore. The insane rain was just a bonus.

Following this we will have three days on the road. First to San Angelo KOA...

Then to the Amarillo KOA and the Big Texan...

Then to the Pueblo South/Colorado KOA...

Then we to Denver for Chuck's RMACAC Board meeting, after which we head to Bonnie's place in Golden, where we will stay while Chuck continues with his RMACAC stuff and his presentation at KOO.

Then 2 nights in a straw bale cabin in Jefferson - where we will also get to tour the owners' earthship!

Quick stop at Wines of Colorado for lunch on our way to our final night  - Santa Fe KOA.

Stop in ABQ to get a green chile cheeseburger at the Owl Cafe before heading back to Roswell.

Yes - I should have started this blog before we left Roswell...but here we are - and here it is! Trip details to come :)
